Director Global Market Access PST Keppra UCB Brussels

As the successful candidate for this key role, you will hold responsibility for the global leadership and coordination of the activities supporting the Market Access of Keppra®, including the implementation of the Market Access Strategy in its currently approved indications and the generation of the supporting Health Economics & Outcomes evidence.
Your responsibilities are to:
Synthesize market access challenges and payer insights and evidence requirements for Keppra® in all its indications and provide corresponding input into the development and overall compound strategy and decision-making at PST (sub-team) level for this compound, in collaboration with the Global Market Access & Pricing (GMAP) subject matter experts (SMEs)
Drive the execution of the HE/OR evidence generation in support of payer value demonstration and optimal market access implementation of Keppra® in collaboration with members of the regional and affiliate Market Access Network, GMAP SMEs and other business partners
Actively participate in the review of key P&R/HTA submissions of Keppra® in its current indications in collaboration with key affiliate stakeholders and GMAP SMEs
Oversee the maintenance and, where applicable and possible, improvement of the market access status of Keppra® across markets by fostering the sharing of tools, evidence and best practices in terms of P&R/HTA submission and response and the conduct of value-based access negotiations and the implementation of tendering and contracting strategies
Drive the training of affiliate market access professionals and other relevant stakeholders in compound's value propositions and relevant materials for Keppra®, in collaboration with GMAP SMEs
Demonstrate the business ethic and judgment to enforce internal controls to comply with the company’s policies and procedures. Participate, where applicable and required in direct interactions/negotiations with payers and their stakeholders in collaboration with affiliate market access teams and GMAP SMEs Manage by influencing peers, senior management and executive members of the company Desired Skills and Experience Your profile: Excellent command of written and spoken English A Master degree (Health Economics or Statistics would be an asset – and/or Scientific discipline)
Minimum of 8 years experience in global/regional pricing/market access-related positions in pharmaceutical/biotech industry and/or Consultancy Strong experience/track record in the hands-on management of the development and defence of P&R/HTA submissions/interactions and pricing negotiations Proven track record of performing high quality research (i.e. scientific publications, abstracts, posters) Proficiency in Health Economics, Outcomes Research, Patient Reported Outcomes, Strategic Pricing and Payer/HTA policy to interact/enable SME from GMAP practice in these disciplines to successfully complete projects in these disciplines in support of their compound In a compelling consultative approach you articulate your ideas in a clear, inspirational and pragmatic manner
Excellent leadership, interpersonal and communication skills and an effective team player who can engender credibility and confidence within an international matrix organization Creative mind-set, can-do attitude and hands-on problem solving skills, while able to think strategically
